I thank you see where this conversation was going. So what "We" decided, being I am in the boatanchor mode (rebuilding a 75A2 and a B&W 5100) and rebuilding my collection of books from my novice days, that maybe a book would be nice. So what she is looking for is a 1957 (I Thank) Radio Handbook By Bill Orr. It may be a '58 or '59, the one with the red cover.
