The B&W model B turret was apparently made before WWII. It has a multi-deck 4 position switch in a mount surrounded on 3 sides with coil jack bars for B&W Bxx coils. This setup gives you both band switching and plug-in coils. I guess the idea is that coils for your 3 most-used bands could stay in the turret. So coil changing to switch bands is kept to a minimum. I think the B turret must be rated 100-150 watts.
If anyone has an original brochure on the B turret or pages from a B&W catalog that could be copied, I'd like to see that. Alternatively, if anyone has seen any published construction articles that use this assembly, that would be very interesting too. All I have now is the listing and photo in an old Radio Supply catalog. Any help appreciated. Thanks. 73, Don Merz, N3RHT
