Hello all AMers.
I am cleaning out a rack cabinet for the latest project, and
have for sale the following equipment...

Very clean, like new, Hallicrafters sx17 receiver.
Push pull tube output, selectivity is good, has wide and narrow
positions, narrow is narrow enough, wide is quite wide, and gives
good fidelity. Big lighted S meter with the Hallicrafters
logo on it, very sharp looking receiver.
Price is $300.00 because I suspect it is a collectors piece, stock
and new looking...
Manual included.

R390a, bought at fair radio about 20 years ago, one of their extra
clean ones (premium price), with meters and covers.
It looks quite good, and works like its supposed to.
About 18 years ago, the ballast tube blew out, and I put a resistor
in the socket, and it has been working fine since.
Manual included, along with the antenna adaptor.
$400.00 (less than what I paid for it)

Drake t4xb AM,ssb,cw transmitter, I was using it as an exciter
(rf only) for other transmitters, but got something better.
With manual and power supply, and the 160 meter xtal (enables 160 meter
band), very clean inside and out.
I think I have mods printed out to improve the AM transmission,
if you want to go that way, does screen grid mod I think......
$250.00 (what I paid for it minus the 160 meter xtal)

I could ship the drake stuff, the other stuff would be pickup
(you get to try it first), or I can drive a few hundred miles
or so...

I would consider partial/full trades for parts, depending
on what you have, I don't need any more radios, but can always use
clean parts like transformers (small or medium size), chokes,
variacs, some types of tubes, etc.
The 4D32 rig is under construction and using up transformers
and variacs at al alarming rate!
