I have a lot of new small signal transistors in plastic. They appear to be the same size as a NTE123AP or NTE159. On the flat side they are marked EBC only, nothing else. On the round side they have 3 color marks across. The top is also colored. I tried cross reference as 2Nxxxx where the XXXX was the color code of the 4 colors but it did not cross to anything that resembled these. I can of course identify the NPN-vs-PNP and probably get some measurement of HFE and avalanche characteristics but it would be nice to be able to properly identify these things and get better info than just what I can measure.
