It was only someone who's "selling" equipment, Brian... While sales posts have never been disallowed (some are good, in moderation - no pun intended ;->) good judgement, and respect for others, and the list are a must, I feel.
I wouldn't pay that much attention to the poster however, the message that you posted should have gone to the the guy who sent it, and kept YOU out of the loop.
