Gentlemen, KH6CC Jack from Hawaii was very strong yesterday at 3PM. We had a good 30 minute chat. Texas was strong, chatted with W5QIX in his mobile with his 7-watt HTX-10 shadio rack. The band seems to shut down earlier than last season. 75M seems to go long very early, broadcasts on 40M come in very early as well... maybe there is a correlation between that and 10M?. Since 10M has been somewhat marginal... I use the 4-1000A and the 304TLs modulators into the 4-element quad to stir up some action! Ha. I'll try at 7PM EST tonight and see if there is anything happening at that time, but rather unlikely. George AB2KC

Signals varied anywhere from S4 to S9+. I'm going to finish up here and go down and fire up the rig.
