When it comes to researching transformers, I have found that there are 2 levels--finding out what the heck kind of transformer the model number represents, and then mapping out the connections. For universal audio transformers, these connections never seem to be straightforward. Many of them have terminals instead of wires, so there is no color code. I can figure it out (pretty much) if I have to. But I could also get it wrong. Better to have original documentation if at all possible.
So here I am with these big, round UTC transformers. They are definitely multi-match audio types of some kind. Two of them are marked CG-3xx, and the 3rd one is CVP-3. These are all listed in UTC's 1954 catalog. They are all shown as variable match output transformers for PA use (CG stands for "Commercial Grade"--whatever that is supposed to signify). Anyway, does anyone have any UTC documentation that would show the wiring diagrams of these output transformers? Any help appreciated.
