Can anyone identify this choke?

I have a good-sized choke of about 40 lbs, which looks like the Chicago "FS" style case, as shown at bottom of image here:

The resistance is about 95 ohms, and the reactance is about 14K at 60Hz (no DC) so it is what, about 37H ?

It seems to be gapped, with a thin sheet of cardboard as the gapping material. It seems like it is two "E" sections facing each other, the appearance is very much like the picture.

The choke has the part number of 15726 stamped in the flat part of the end bell sheetmetal.

The two terminals are like the picture, but at the bottom of the choke, not the top.

Any help would be appreciated very much.
