Patrick:

If you could have someone ship it with a corporate discount then the biggest expense would be having someone crate it.

Those two items met, it would have been cheaper, but less fun.

Subject: [AMRadio] BTA-250 pictures

There are not many pictures of the RCA BTA-250L on the WWW.

I have put a few pics of mine here.

Although the trip was uneventful, getting the rig in through the lab door once we arrived home was a challenge. It had to be tipped and walked through. This is not something to be done lightly.

I have a habit of making road trips, but considering the costs, I am beginning to wonder if insurance and motor freight would be more economical.

480.00 large truck, 3 days.
472.00 fuel
100.00 two cheapo hotel stays
050.00 food
==============
1102.00 !!!

Could this be beaten by contracting for an end to end turn-key transport?

Patrick
