I have restored three old northern receivers made in the early 40s.  I also
have a northern am transmitter using 807s also from the early 40s which I
have yet to restore.
The three receivers were models 736, 736-E, and N.-600.The 736 has big
"airplane" dial and also two different nomemclature plates one being Norther
Radio (on the back) and the other saying Northern Electric(on the front) .
All of my Northern stuff was meant for marine, shipboard use.
