even though most folks have cable TV should I build a TVI filter for the transmitter anyway?
It can't hurt. I still run them on my rigs, but I don't think it is a necessity unless your neighbors are using a regular antenna or rabbit ears and you are living right on top of them. I would concentrate on getting the rig going and worry about building a filter later. 73, John, W4AWM
