With the mention of 813's it got me thinking that it might be possible to use
the right multitap mod transformer and configure an ultralinear screen tap
hookup thereby eliminating the screen supply and gaining the HIFI attributes
of that configuration. That would also allow me to Variac the supply and keep
the scrn/pl volt ratio the same.
Been thinking of building up a universal Mod deck myself since I have the 813's
and a 500W Thordarson multitap.
How's that sound?
