Does anyone remember the Surplus AM Aircraft transmitter  AVT-112 ?..I ran 
one mobile in 52 Merc with a Gonset Steering column mounted converter and a 
Hygain center loaded whip.PE103 dyamotor T17 mic with a telephone F 1 button 
replacing the carbon mic element...Had a blast on 75 mtr phone,3.850Khz..those 
were 
fun times..73's Ron W6MAU...Now on AM with a restored Johnson Viking 2 and a 
Hammarlund HQ129X Rcvr...Radio's That Glow in the Dark ..
