Greetings - Looking for information on possible surplus outlets and other items of heavy radio interest, as well as any events taking place in the month of February, in or around the Tampa Bay/Clearwater area of Florida. So far the only plan is to take a look at Kermit's toys up in Polk City and visit a Cold War display in Tampa. I realize that the day of the surplus radio store has all but vanished, but it would still be nice to find some stuff to look at. Wouldn't mind meeting up with some of the folks from the lists for coffee, lunch, or just a good ol' BS session. A conveniently-scheduled February hamfest would be too much to ask for, I know.
