My Novice Frequency in the 50's was 7156. You could work the entire Novice band with one crystal. It wasn't uncommon to tune up the band 20 kHz and hear someone returning your "CQ" call five minutes after you stopped sending. Lets face it...we all did the same thing hoping someone would hear us.
