A friend of mine asked me to help him get his newly acquired 2M AM transceiver on the air, an old Knight TR-108. He doesn't have the matching VFO, so is in need of a crystal. The crystal frequency is the 2 Meter frequency divided by 18.
144.4 Mhz (8.022 Mhz Crystal) 144.425 Mhz (8.024 Mhz Crystal) 144.28 Mhz (8.016 Mhz Crystal) These are New England and NYC frequencies which I got off of the amwindow website. We live about 35 Miles SW of Lancaster PA, so if there is any regular AM activity around the Philly or Baltimore area, a crystal for the appropriate frequency would work also. Thanks! 73 Mark K3MSB
