I don't know the name of it, but one of the old Mickey Rooney movies from the 40's had a very prominent display of ham radio with a big rack and panel transmitter, etc. Was it Boy's Town? Anyway, those were the days!!

Subject: [AMRadio] Ham Radio in a Boatanchor Movie - "Grand Jury Secrets."

While looking through a stack of old "Radio" magazines I ran across an article
in the Dec 1939 issue.

The article described how ham radio was prominently featured in a Paramount
studios movie called "Grand Jury Secrets."

A few of the seens shown in the magazine show some impressive transitters -
albeit props.

One of those films that has been lost to time.

Here is a review : http://movies2.nytimes.com/gst/movies/movie.html?v_id=93666

Any one know where to find a copy of the film?
