I'll be there, too -- with my new fancy-pants Neumann microphone (or should I say "microphonium?" - no, I shouldn't!). I fashioned a rather spiffy looking pop filter for it last night using a small wooden embroidery hoop and black panty hose. The panty hose are regular fit, however. If I used control top ones, I suppose, sibililance might be held in check. I wish I'd thought of that before. At any rate, this homebrew pop filter is worthy of the high-end mike it's on. The embroidery hoop was made in Germany -- just like the Neumann -- and features a finely knurled brass tension adjustment screw. Best of all, it works, so I won't be transmitting any consonants explosively tomorrow.
