Actually, have been giving serious consideration to a single 811,
modulated by a pair.
I could use a common power supply for final and modulator, zero bias
(well, some for the Class C final) the push-pull 811's in the
modulator would have more than sufficient audio, I'd only need a 100w
modulation transformer, and it could all fit in half the size of a
Globe King cabinet.
