I have a HF 500 watt Bird 43 slug that I would like to swap for a HF 1000 watt slug. I have three HF slugs covering 50-250-500 watts. Since I have some amplifiers that will do more than 500 watts, I'd rather exchange my 500 watter for a 1000 watter. Maybe somebody out there needs my 500 watter, and who might have a 1000 watter they don't need. Also does Bird still sell PEP kits for the Bird 43 wattmeter? If so, how well do they work with AM?
