I saw that Palstar Dummy Load, but it's a little too expensive for me right now. I like your water heater element idea. I wonder if they're classified by impedance? There's one of those "Do It Yourself" stores not far from here that would likely have one. Thanks for the tips.

Or you could buy you a five gallon pail of Mineral oil, take a heating element from a hot water heater, check the impedance, they are NOT all the same. install this down into the Oil, with the proper connector attached and 'Voila' you have a gigantic DUMMY Load.
