Try this link. It has a pretty good list of contests and activities. It does not include operating events like submarine activations or special event stations. I would guess the ARRL list of special event stations along with this link will give you as much info as possible.

Do any of you know any online references for either/or frequency and date?

I think date alone is not too hard, I'm sure there are calenders at arrl.org and other places. I'm more concerned about picking some bad frequencies that will
already be in use at that time.
