Can you please tell me what is so important in your message/email to warrant it being sent to everyone who is a subscriber to this mail list.

Quite frankly, your message is a screed.

Don't like the QSO? Swish the vfo.

Before you go, though.. would you please define "screed"?

Never mind. I'll look it up m'self.

Ah, here we go...

Webster defines it as:

_____________________________
screed One entry found for *screed*.
Main Entry: *screed*
Pronunciation: 'skrEd
Function: /noun/
Etymology: Middle English /screde/ fragment, alteration of Old English /scrEade/ -- more at SHRED <http://www.webster.com/dictionary/shred> *1 a* *:* a lengthy discourse *b* *:* an informal piece of writing (as a personal letter) *2* *:* a strip (as of a plaster of the thickness planned for the coat) laid on as a guide
*3* *:* a leveling device drawn over freshly poured concrete

So, my message, you're saying, is a lengthy discourse, or an informal peice of writing? I suppose that's true.

Let's not forget, we're -amatuers-. We are -not- professionals. I'm sorry you don't think my message meets your standards, but Brian is the person who would make -that- decision, and since it was he and I in an exchange and he didn't say anything about it, I'd say he didn't have a problem with it.

That -you- have a problem with it doesn't mean my message was correct, either. If I offended you in some manner, then don't read my messages in the future.

Unless Brian says he's got a problem with what and how I write, I'll continue in the same manner as I have now, lo these many years.

Thanks for playing. Youv'e been a wonderful contestant.

You really don't get it - do you. If you want to communicate via email to your friend, then do it, but please keep your tripe off the mail list.

You might want to read the message again, David, or are you really -trying- to be that 'obtuse'?
Don't like it? Don't read it.

NEXT!
