  I have a copy of most of the manuals for the R-388/51J-series - and the 
Sam's Photofact has a nice, concise set of simple alignment instructions, 
along with the dial-cord diagram...   it's a good addendum to the Mil and 
Commercial docs...  IMHO, at any rate.
