Jim, Counting from the blocking capacitor end, the plate coil is tapped at 4 turns for 10 meters; 7.5 turns for 15 meters; 10.5 turns for 20 meters; 14 turns for 40 meters; and 24 turns for 80 meters. All of the figures include the 4 turn coil made from 3/8 strap.
NOTE: Strapping should then be run to the band-switch terminals which do not progress in consecutive order and arranged to provide the shortest possible lead length. Good Luck. 73, Bob,W4WSZ AM'ing over 55 years > [Original Message] > From: Jim Wilhite <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[email protected]> > Date: 8/29/2006 5:28:39 PM > Subject: [AMRadio] Pi Dux Coil > > I found it. > > ______________________________________________________________ > AMRadio mailing list > List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio > Partner Website: http://www.amfone.net > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html > Post: mailto:[email protected] ______________________________________________________________ AMRadio mailing list List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Partner Website: http://www.amfone.net Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:[email protected]
