Hello, A great unit for most high voltage leakage tests that I use is an HP Harrison 6110A 3kv @6ma precision power supply found at a Fest years ago. It also doubles as a precision voltage calibration source since the voltage is set via thumb weels with 1 volt or better accuracy up to 3kv. Meter is a bit small but with a 7 ma full scale deflection you can resolve to somewhat below 1 ma. Good for checking and reforming caps also.
