I am using the ALS-500M, I drive the amp to produce 100 Watts carrier. Seems
to work OK .

Has anyone used the Ameritron ALS-500M solid state amplifier on 75 meter
AM in the mobile? If so, how much drive did you use and with what
results? I have a FT-897 ricebox in the truck that does nice on AM (for a
ricebox) but I would like to kick it up a little. I've worked some 40
meter AM with the ATAS antenna and some 75 meter AM with the Hamstick, but
I feel I need a little kick on 75.
