John, With that Eico720, and a 40 watt bulb, all you needed to do was say "THREEEEEEEEE" instead of "FOURRRRR", and the bulb would have survived. ;-)

The 6146 rigs I used before such as the Eico720 have been known to blow out a 40 watt bulb with modulation. Just curious John, WA5BXO ______________________________________________________________ AMRadio mailing list List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Partner Website: http://www.amfone.net Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:[email protected] ______________________________________________________________ AMRadio mailing list List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Partner Website: http://www.amfone.net Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:[email protected]
