Oops, that should have read: I am looking at the multi-wire 'cage' antenna. This is a wire design which simulates a very fat conductor with multiple wires in a column-shape. Much broader bandwidth than a thin-wire antenna, and doesn't soak up water - but definitely heavy, very involved, and has a lot more wind load. -------------------------------
