If it works that's what counts! Mine has an oil port, but it didn't seem to help.

In mine, I ended up taking the smallest drill bit I can find, drilling a small hole in the top of the case and put sewing machine oil in there, then solder the hole closed. That was on 27 April 2006, and it is still going strong and has not lost any time. I may be way off for your application, but it worked for mine.
