Is 3805 Khz a new AM calling frequency?
I heard an AMer get bounced about operating there.
The ARRL Recognized AM Calling Frequency on 75m is 3.885Mc.
AM is allowed -anywhere- phone is allowed.
That means if you hold an Extra class license, you can operate AM phone
from 3.600Mc to 4.000Mc.
If you're an Advanced, you can operate AM from 3.700 to 4.000Mc
If you're a General, you can operate AM from 3.800 to 4.000Mc.
How much clearer can that be?
