With the tilt problem showing as soon as you start to
descend, I was reminded of one such truck where we put
the boat tie-down strap around the upper third of the
transmitter, and used the trailer winch (removed from
our trailer and lashed inside the truck) to lower
things in a coordinated fashion, keeping tension on
the upper cable to prevent the transmitter from
falling off.

The biggest problem was the macro, large-scale jolts
the liftgate suffers with even the quickest click on
the DOWN switch.  Whole assembly had this oscillation
thing going on as we jerked it to the ground.

THAT was fun. Lived to tell about it.
