KNIN is the station I could not recall. It was 990 and
there was another station there owned by Raymond Ruff that
was its competitor. I don't remember what the frequency or
call of the other even though I worked for KIXZ in Amarillo
from 1968 until 1972, also owned by Ruff.

KFCD is a sports talk radio station serving the
Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The station is licensed in Farmersville, Texas.
The station started out originally in Wichita Falls as
K-Nine (KNIN), a popular Top 40 station during the 60's
and 70's.
