I am looking for some small gauge (24 - 26) stranded wire with plastic coated cloth insulation as used back in the good old days. I'm rewinding a small coil that uses a piece of tubing for the form. The wire goes inside the tubing, of course, which is in a circle. I've tried a couple of other types of insulation but they are not stiff enough to go through the tube after a few turns are wound. I only need about 15'. Anyone have such a
piece of wire or know a good source?
Thanks,
Rick
