Anyone can build a cw/ssb rig these days. The Elecraft stuff works better then most modern rigs costing twice the price (or more). I have a K3 on order. Look at the diagram at the end of the manual for the mmr 40, its not very complicated.... I don't know if you even need any test equipment, you don't with the Elecraft stuff...
