I guess I'm one of the younger "Old Buzzards". I'm 56, and been licensed since 1969. Been on AM since I got licensed. Oh, sure I operate "slaw-bukitt", but if I'm on 80 or 40, AM it is, (generally).
This anti-AM attitude is a hold over from CB, where sidebanders disdain AM. If they're complaining about AM'ers, or insulting them, then you know where they've come from.
