I got the first one today, and what a mess. Another ebay special, you pay to much and get crap...
It does transmit, but the receiver has serious problems, the noise blanker does not work, the passband tuning does not work on AM, the S meter seems to do nothing or pin, not much inbetween, the rf amp seems to just be a noise generator, the light in one meter is out... It does not seem to make a very good AM receiver, it seems to have one AM filter, and that is it, no selection of filters, and the passband tuning does not seem to work on AM. Some of the problems may be from dirty relays, a known 102 problem, they dont look so easy to change... Well, its something to play with, and it will make a good RF driver to excite the homebrew rigs.
