For Sale: Beehive Insulators. If you are building old transmitters from early
QSTs and Handbooks, then you wll recognize these instantly. These so-called
beehive insulators were used as standoffs for caps, coils and even tube sockets
on many of those old breadboard-based rigs. I have 21 ceramic beehive
insulators--all the same size and shape--perfect for construction of early
breadboard-type ham radio transmitters. All but 4 of these are brown. Most of
them have the screw and nuts for electrical connections, but some do not. These
are used but in good shape. $75 for all of them plus $11 for priority flat-rate
box mailing with tracking.
Thanks for looking.
