SweeeeeeT !

Mine is a 83 Dodge B350 (1 ton), extended wheelbase and extended cab with a 360, 4bbl, RV cam, and headers. A full 10' tower section goes in with almost a foot to spare before it hits the seats.

A previous one was a 85 B250 with the 318. Body and suspension basically disentergrated to pure oxide but the engine & trans were still running well at 392K. It was also the double extended version.

We have another beater here for local hauling, dump runs, etc. 1978 Ford E150 with the 300 sixbanger.

No stinkin' computers, or performance killing sensors.

I was about to jump into the fun and say that my 1957 Chevies would save my
bacon (points ignition and Tooobe radio (GB content) (and about time they
did something for *me*) but Carl's post made me think that it's time to
stop dreaming about that custom Dodge van I've lusted after (see item #
300185334206 ) and go get it. Carl, I'll bet a 6' yagi would fit in there!
Yaaaaaaahooooooooooo!

Hmmm, what a great toy to use when the cops are chasing you <G>. Id like to

use it on tailgaters.

Finally a market for all those surplus 4CX250's.

PP 300 MHz oscillators anyone? 2500V unfiltered DC right off a 3 phase xfmr
driven by the alternator

How much gain is there in a 4' yagi at that frequency?

Gee, a whole new market for pre computer vans as the device would probably
wipe out any computerized vehicle carrying it.

Coming Soon -- Microwave Gun That Can Destroy Your Car From 600 Feet Away

A Pasadena, California company has created a device that will destroy a
car'
s electrical system and stop it dead in its tracks. Just one pulse from
this
beam disables cars up to 50 feet away.

How does it work? One beam pulsed in a burst lasting just 50 nanoseconds
disrupts your vehicle's electrical system. The radiation can overload
wires,
or damage or upset your car's central microprocessor.

Their prototype is 5 feet long, 3 feet wide, 1 foot thick, and weighs just
under 200 pounds. With proper funding, it may be possible to create a
device
weighing only 50 pounds that works from 600 feet away.

It operates on the same general principle as a microwave oven, but at a
300
megahertz frequency, rather than your standard microwave oven, which
operates at about 2.5 gigahertz. It is said to be non-harmful to humans.
