Bob I consistently work PNW AM stations on 3870 each week. During the winter months propagation lengthens out and we can copy the PNW gang after 8:00PM local time.
On 40 meters you will find a lot of AM stations in California, Arizona and Oregon almost every day on 7293 starting about 10:00 AM local and going till early afternoon. Hope to hear you some evening on 3870 All the Best Ron www.qsl.net/w6om -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bob Macklin Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2008 4:17 PM To: AM Radio Subject: [AMRadio] West Coasr AM Operation? I used to hear the PNW AM group on 3870 but I guess because of the solar cycle they have dropped down into the noise. I also used to hear the Calif. AM operators on 14.286. But it has been several years since I have heard any 20M AM operation. But what about 40M AM operation. Is there any 40M AM operation on the west coast?
