ELI the ICE man was taught in the early weeks of USN ET School.
Whoever created the course material were geniuses as they could take a backwoods farmers son and make a first rate ET out of him.

Im sure that course material is available somewhere for download, especially the basic DC and AC theory.

How about ELI the ICE man? Had an OT BC engineer buddy help me out
with that one when I was working on my Advanced upgrade back in the
80s. Something about current, voltage, and leading/lagging...

He used to explain formulae to me using a slide rule, too. Hard to
believe the incredible machines, aircraft, and so on built with the
aid of such simple tools. (o:
