I have not been using my SX-110 much lately because of the CRAPPY band
conditions.

In the past couple of week when I have tried it seemed the LO was quitting
while I was tuning it.

This afternoon I finally got off my @$$ and pulled the case off. I used the
De-Oxit on both variable caps and all the switches.

After it dried off I put it back in it's position on the bookcase and turned it
on.

I switched it to the high band to see what it would do. BANG! I got hit by a
STRONG 11M CB clown! I have not heard one here in over 2 years!

Anyway it looks like it is working again. I will try 40M and 80M later this
evening. Not that I expect much. And I will try 20M over the weekend.

At least this CB guy is running AM!
