Thanks to all who responded to me about using the TR-7.  I won't buy it 
since my audio is good on the kenwood now and I dont want to buy a radio 
that would not ke as good on am transmit audio.  I will look at buying a 
good receiver only and use the 2000 for a transmitter like I do now.  thanks
