Bob, nice work on the 100. The black tarnish on the tube socket lugs is
harmless, as those were silver plated I believe. If you were to lift the
sockets (for the 5R4s) and see carbon lines from the HV AC pins over to the
nearby chassis hole, thats a problem. Mine had that.
That is amazing that the underside was so clean, yet the topside was such a
mess. Wherever it was last stored must have had a lot of moisture and dust/dirt
dropping into the holes through the enclosure. Looking forward to hearing about
it coming alive.
