I just completed a 10 minute qso on 29.0 with N3ELK in Delaware at 
00:05:00Z.

There was the usual qsb, but he peaked at s9 here in Mississippi.

Both of us were running rice boxes in the 25 watt range. No doubt his 5 
element monobander helped his signal quite a bit.

I'll keep an ear on 29.0 and 21.425 as much as possible whenever I catch 
strong ssb signals.

Come on up there and make your presence known on AM.
