Recently we have had discussions about the Heath DX-60/HG-10/HR-10 stations.
It seems that there is quite a group of us that either have or are working on setting up a "NOVICE" station using this combo. Should we setup a mail list for this activity so we can keep up to date on what we are doing. And also maybe to help us get together on the air. After the mod and retuning I did to my HR-10 yesterday was pleased with it's performance on 40M last night. I was surprised to find people operating. Lately it has been mostly during contests that people operate. My next mod is going to be a nice looking label (sticker) for the front of the DX-60 that shows what crystals are in what positions. I will put them on with rubber cement.
