Bill and all, Jack was the one that helped and got my BC1G up and on the air. This man knows more about transmitters than any one man in the good ole USA...Need to get him on the group...

He's got a Collins 20V-2 that he's rebuilding to go with his Collins 820D and RCA BT-250, and you can bet it just got a good wax job after we hosed it down to get all the transmitter smeg out. The thing looks great. I'm resurrecting a Bauer 707 for operation on 160, 75/80, and 40 and it will get the same treatment after I finish buffing the cabinet to remove the oxidized surface of the paint. Good luck with the project!! Bill AD5OL ----- Original Message ---- From: M. K. At my old station I used to lay on a few coats of car wax whenever I was bored.... Is it only me? :-) Mike - N3EAQ ______________________________________________________________ Our Main Website: http://www.amfone.net AMRadio mailing list Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ List Rules (must read!): http://w5ami.net/amradiofaq.html List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:[email protected] To unsubscribe, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word unsubscribe in the message body. ______________________________________________________________ Our Main Website: http://www.amfone.net AMRadio mailing list Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ List Rules (must read!): http://w5ami.net/amradiofaq.html List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:[email protected] To unsubscribe, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word unsubscribe in the message body. ______________________________________________________________ Our Main Website: http://www.amfone.net AMRadio mailing list Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ List Rules (must read!): http://w5ami.net/amradiofaq.html List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:[email protected] To unsubscribe, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word unsubscribe in the message body.
