Mine also has the heating element.  The element and a series thermostat 
are shown on the schematic, but the power connections go nowhere.

On the PTO in mine, there is a HEATING ELEMENT, similar to the one on
the R-390A PTO. The
element apparently isn't used in the T-368.

Has anyone out there tried firing it up to maintain PTO temperature?
If so, did it help with the drift
problem?
