Dick, You need to beg, borrow, or gain access to (and I realize this is quite esoteric) an ALPS MD 1000 or MD 5000 dye sublimation printer. Those printers are the only ones I know of that can print white (a plethora of other colors, too). They'll print on anything, including water-slide decal film.
Failing that, Google "custom decals" and "model railroad" and I'll bet a shiny new dime you'll find someone who can do it for you. regards, Mahlon - K4OQ > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Message: 1 > Date: Tue, 28 Jul 2009 21:01:38 -0700 > From: "RICHARD GEORGE" <[email protected]> > Subject: [AMRadio] decals > To: "Old Tube Radios" <[email protected]>, "amlist" > <[email protected]>, <[email protected]> > Message-ID: <[email protected]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" > > I'm restoring some old Gonset gear and need to replace some of the worn white > lettering that has seen better days. > Does anyone still sell decals or dry transfer lettering? > > I would prefer full word lettering for electronics over individual letters > > I can create my own decals on the computer but not in white. > > K6KWQ Dick > amps by "MORE POWER" > ______________________________________________________________ Our Main Website: http://www.amfone.net AMRadio mailing list Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ List Rules (must read!): http://w5ami.net/amradiofaq.html List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Post: [email protected] To unsubscribe, send an email to [email protected] with the word unsubscribe in the message body.
