Looking for refugees from the Glowbugs mailing list... I'm really missing the Glowbugs mailing list discussions since the server has been down, so as at least a temporary expedient I've set up a Yahoo "group" to substitute for the down mailing list server. If you are already a member of the Yahoo system, nothing special will be required. If you are not now registered with Yahoo, you'd need to do so as part of the joining. But it is simple and quick, and can be done with "vague" and non-specific personal information so you are anonymous.
I do not mean this to be any sort of threat or competition to the original Glowbugs list. It can serve as a temporary replacement, or if the original never returns it can continue in its place. Or I can shut it down if no one is interested. Any and all of the above are OK with me. But I'd like to get the discussions going again... Anyone interested in discussions of classic and vintage radio equipment, as well as new designs using vacuum tubes, with an emphasis on "homebrewing", can go directly to the Yahoo Groups site for the new list and sign up: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/glowbugsmailinglist/ Steve WD8DAS [email protected] http://www.wd8das.net/ --------------------------------------------------------- Radio is your best entertainment value. --------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________________________________________ Our Main Website: http://www.amfone.net AMRadio mailing list Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ List Rules (must read!): http://w5ami.net/amradiofaq.html List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Post: [email protected] To unsubscribe, send an email to [email protected] with the word unsubscribe in the message body.
